Executive coaching for all general managers of Soho House Group
Executive Coaching
Self-reflection makes better managers. That’s why the Soho House Group asked me to work with all 26 general managers on its board in personal coaching sessions in 2013.
Soho House is a private members' club originally founded in London in 1995 for those in the arts and media industries.
At the Soho House Group, understanding the nuances of emotional intelligence and the importance of self-reflection is paramount for leadership excellence. Recognizing this, I was commissioned to assist all 26 general managers on the board, guiding them on a journey of introspection.
Leveraging the Reiss Profile method—a revered diagnostic tool renowned for offering insights as unique as fingerprints—we embarked on a structured process of self-examination.
After completing an online questionnaire, each manager received a bespoke personality profile that laid the groundwork for our subsequent one-on-one coaching sessions in London.
These personalized sessions, informed by the Reiss Profile, initiated profound self-reflection, enabling the managers to delve deep into their intrinsic motivations and behavioral patterns.
Managers emerged with an enhanced self-awareness, leading to improved self-management. They cultivated a richer understanding of both their own tendencies and those of others, leading to a broader spectrum of actionable insights.
This holistic approach not only sharpened their leadership capabilities but also fortified the managerial bedrock of the Soho House Group.
