I partnered with the accelerator as both a coach and a moderator: I provided one-on-one coaching sessions to assist startups in refining their investor pitches, and I also took on the role of hosting the demo day.
The Climate-KIC Accelerator in Berlin is Germany’s largest accelerator for early-stage startups working in cleantech. Alumni of the program include Thermondo, Lilium Aviation, Green City Solutions and ECF Farmsystems.
Climate-KIC, the largest European initiative for climate-friendly technologies, offers a pivotal platform for green start-ups to evolve from nascent ideas to market-ready innovations.
Over three, six-month stages, the participating startups attend workshops and trainings and prepare for a final demo day in front of 200 investors. The aim is to get the startups ready for their first investors and customers and help them scale their business.
Their annual Demo Day in Berlin provides these start-ups a golden opportunity to gain exposure, network with prominent investors, derive insights from industry veterans, and win accolades that amplify their market credibility.
Beyond the event, Climate-KIC's extensive presence across 15 European countries ensures a consistent scaffold of support, nurturing start-ups with financial aid, coaching, and market insights to ensure their success in the competitive cleantech domain.
